On June 12, 2001, the Board of Supervisors passed the Child Support Compliance Ordinance #SCC 1195. The purpose of this ordinance is to ensure that the County is not contracting with an entity whose principal owners have not complied with child, family or spousal support orders (Limited Purchase Orders, Department Field Orders and Procurement Cards are exempt from this ordinance).
On February 18, 2003, the Board of Supervisors approved amendment Ordinance #SCC 1237 to the Child Support Compliance Ordinance previously passed. To access the code, go to Chapter 2.160 Child Support Compliance Program.
The ordinance requires vendors to complete the following referenced forms:
Contractor Certification of Compliance Form
This form is to be signed by all bidders. This form is also a part of the RFP or bid packet. Failure to comply with new contractor reporting and compliance certification requirements (Section 2.160.040) will be deemed that the bid, proposal or other offering is non responsive.
Contractor ID Form
This form is to be completed by contract providers that are new contractors as well as the renewal of an existing contract. If you are awarded (or renewing) a contract, you will be contacted by staff and directed to the site to complete the online form. Vendors have the option to submit information via the web or complete the hardcopy form.
The Contract and Purchasing Services Division has created a web based system to facilitate the completion and submission of the
Contractor ID form. Click to complete the online Contractor ID Form.
