Welcome to the Sacramento County Contract and Purchasing Services Division!
We purchase and lease goods, contract for professional services, engage independent contractors and contract for construction services on behalf of the County and its Departments. The Contract and Purchasing Services Division also manages personal property declared surplus to County needs.
The Contract and Purchasing Services Division is headed by the Purchasing Agent who is responsible for developing procurement policy in compliance with law, resolutions and directives of the Board of Supervisors.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Contract and Purchasing Services Division is to provide the most effective delivery of essential services to Sacramento County departments and special districts by:
- providing consistent, cost effective and timely procurement support to all County departments and districts,
- encouraging an environment of equal opportunity, fairness, honesty and integrity with our customers and suppliers, and
- ensuring a good return on investment of the tax dollar.
Effective June 30, 2003, the County will no longer post bid opportunities on 874-8888.
